Emo culture
The word Emo is a short form of the word emotional. It describes a subculture that is characterized with the style of living as well as fashion. Emo is more known because of its attitude towards life.
The origin of emo:
The origin of Emo lies in the roots of history. It’s originated as a style of music, which was incorporated with many independent variations of music styles with some existing music styles. In mid 80s the word Emo was used to describe the subgenre of hardcore music and Washington DC was considered to be the place of origin for this style of music
On the later stages, the term Emo was used to describe the emotions and the band artist who belongs to this stream of art followed their own independent style of music which expresses their feeling the most.
When we talk about the Emo culture, it describes something that is not related to any type of trend or bound. As a culture the effect of Emo is very much seen on fashion and the culture. Most of the youth and the teenagers are affected with it. It is a way of leaving where there is no bond of the society and nothing which is to be followed. Every one comes with their own style of fashion and living that is unique and expresses their own state of mind.

Music: the origin of Emo happened with the origin of music in this world. And the band stars of rock and punk music are real prophet of revolution among the teenagers. With the effect of emo, a new style of music was introduced to the world, which is merger of different existing styles, though there is no standard for this merger. Most of these music streams believe in finding the best way to express the feeling of heart. Even now the hairstyle and other steams of fashion are affected by these band stars.
Fashion: fashion is perhaps the most affected part of life with emo. It introduced new styles which are far different from the traditional ones. The black color comes as most popular color among emos. The other bright colors are also important. The tight jeans and stylist T-shirts with dark color are most important characteristic of Emo culture.
Hairstyles: hairstyle is considered as a most powerful way to express the feeling of one’s mind among the youths and the teenager. The beauty of Emo culture lies in the factor that there is no unique standard to follow, but everyone comes with their own style. Though, there are many common characteristics like long hairs, use of clip and other accessories, long stylish bang covering the most part of face including the forehead.
Emois not only a culture but a way of living where there is no bound of society. Everyone is free to do what ever he wants to do that is the reason it is more popular among the teenagers and the youths. Even the bonds of gender are not acceptable to the followers of emo.
